Summer Session at the New England School of Metalwork truly shines. We pride ourselves on offering you a wide array of nationally known, professional artist and craftsmen spanning all areas for you to choose from. Workshops run from 8 am to 5 pm daily with a one hour break for lunch (if you can stay away from the forge that long). Most of the blacksmithing and sculpture workshops offered run 4 to 5 days in length. While in season and accessible, our Summer Session Workshops offer a dinner and slide night; we gather outside the shop for a traditional Maine Lobster bake followed by a slide presentation of the visiting instructor. What better way to replenish all those vitamins lost through hours of sweating than by having a fresh lobster and clam dinner.
