Wrought Iron Bar

This material was reclaimed by Liberty Salvage from a local turn of the century mill across the river in Lewiston. It forges very well with little or no splitting, has a very lively pattern and welds beautifully. We have      1 1/2"(6 lb./ft) and 1 3/4" round bar (8 pounds/ft). NESM can also forge down to size.  We have sold several thousand pounds to bladesmiths as well as blacksmiths for reproduction work. There is about 15 tons available.

Quench Tubs

       There are a limited number of these beauties. Made from old propane cylinders. They are made of 1/8" mild steel with a rugged base.  These hold plenty of water and are very stable. 

Also available but not pictured, 16" diameter by 24" tall tubs.

      Knowing the difficulties in finding quality coal, NESM now makes this as painless as possible. NESM offers low clinker, low sulfur and medium to low ash content coal. It is pre bagged in 55 lb. bags.
