360 Pipe Welding Program

Monday through Friday   9:00 to 3:30 for 12 Weeks

The 360 Hour Pipe Welding Program prepares a student for pipe certification following AWS and ASME Section IX welding codes. Instruction consists of coupon preparation, welding technique, and troubleshooting for pipe welding in the 2G, 5G, and 6G positions using E6010 or ER70S-2 (GTAW/Tig) in the root pass and E7018 in the fill and cover passes.

Students may test for the AWS B2.1 pipe certifications in SMAW and/or GTAW/SMAW by the end of the program (optional – additional fee required). Individuals who exhibit sound welding skills are encouraged to take one or both of the pipe certification tests.

TO ENROLL STUDENTS MUST HAVE COMPLETED THE 360 HOUR WELDING PROGRAM

OR

 BE AWS PLATE CERTIFIED IN SMAW AND HAVE GTAW EXPERIENCE

TUITION:     $7600.00         Tuition includes instruction, all materials, and personal protective equipment (PPE’s helmet, jacket, gloves, safety glasses, and beanie) required for the program. The registration fee is included in the tuition.

STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO PAY HALF OF THE TUITION ($3800.00) AT THE TIME OF ENROLLMENT TO SECURE A PLACE IN CLASS. THE REMAINING HALF IS DUE BY THE LAST WEEK OF THE STUDENT’S PROGRAM.
