Charley Orlando

Charles Orlando has been forging steel since 1978, first as a farrier and
then as a blacksmith. He has been teaching and demonstrating forging techniques for eighteen years at a number of craft schools, and at many blacksmithing and farrier groups across the country. He has been an ABANA member for over twenty-five years, has demonstrated at two of their national conferences, and coordinated two ABANA conferences. Orlando Forge, his studio, is located in Belmont, NY. His work is mostly custom and architectural in nature, railings, grills, tables, hardware and interior work, using a combination of contemporary and traditional processes.
