Muh-Tsyr Yee

Muh-Tsyr Yeeearned a BFA in glassblowing and glass engraving from the Appalachian Crafts Center. He began his apprenticeship in 1986 with Sword smith Michael Bell; student of Nakajima Muneyoshi. In 2000 Muh-Tsyr set up his own smithy and is interested in traditional swords, knives, wood working tools and wooden boat building. Honest craftsmanship is the basis which is built around a refinement of technique, form, balance and intent. Craftsmanship can be an continual learning process of self discovery tempered by experience.
